Happy Friday! Rob got in around 10 last night and we ordered pizza, which was delivered right after we got home from the airport. We sat outside with a citronella candle while Ender ran around our backyard and lightning bugs flickered. It has been so hot here in Charlotte--at 11PM it was still in the high 80s and super humid. I kind of hate how hot it gets down here, but there is something magical about a muggy summer night, especially when there's pizza.

We're headed out of town early tomorrow morning for a wedding, but we both have some work to do before then (as well as some oysters and cocktails with our name on them later tonight in Uptown), so until then, I wanted to share a few links for your weekend:

Happy Friday, friends! This week went by in a whirlwind. I turned in the majority of my book on Wednesday and gave myself a well-deserved day off after such a crazy month of work and moving. I went to the gym in the morning, then stopped by my favorite coffee shop for a leisurely cold brew before heading home to play with Ender in the yard before Rob went to work. Then I met Rob for lunch on my way to a 90 minute massage he had booked for me earlier this week! 

Now that most of the work on the book is done for now, I can focus on settling into our new house and getting back to regular posting on the blog! I can't wait to share more with you about the cookbook, but until then, I'm just happy to be back to regularly scheduled life for a while. This weekend we're doing a lot of hanging around at home--Ender's best bud Lyla is staying with us on Saturday night, which should be fun. I haven't had a weekend with nothing to do in a while, so I'm ready for it!

Happy Friday! What a week. Usually coming home from a big trip zaps my productivity for a few days, but I feel like I hit the ground running as soon as my flight landed on Monday night. Being in Seattle for work inspired me so much and I'm just so excited to be here. I have a few fun things in the works and I can't wait to share details with you all!

Yesterday we looked at a really cute little rental house that I fell in love with, so now that's all I can think about. Our apartment lease doesn't end until August though, so we need to do a little maneuvering if things are going to work out. Cross your fingers! I hate looking for housing because I get super attached to every single property and then I end up bummed out if it doesn't work.

On Wednesday I taught my Blogging Basics SkillPop class again, and tomorrow afternoon my friend Corri and I are leading our first Instagram Workshop! I'm super excited about it and we've had so much fun putting it all together. SkillPop has been so fun for me and I'm so happy to be teaching so often this month--in a few weeks I have another class (and there are three seats left if you live in Charlotte and are interested in attending)!

Tonight our friend Roy is in town so I'm going to be folding some laundry and cleaning up our place this morning (and maybe packing away some winter things) and then it's the weekend! Before I go I wanted to share some links I've been saving:
