Happy Friday from Minneapolis! We got in last night and had breakfast with friends this morning. Now we're relaxing a bit at my brother-in-law's place before we head out for more food, a walk around a lake, and happy hour later tonight! It's unseasonably warm here this weekend so people are out and about enjoying the day. I'm so happy to be here.

Good morning from Charlotte! Rob and I got home last night and it felt so much like a Sunday--I'm excited that we have a full weekend to unwind and do laundry and really relax a bit before we get back to regularly scheduled life on Monday morning.

I can't believe 2015 is upon us. I'm not usually into making very specific New Year's Resolutions, but this year I really want to do my best to prioritize my life and stop making excuses. I want my health and fitness to stop sitting on the back burner when things get busy or stressful. I want to make even more of an effort to see my friends who live in different cities. And I want to make the most of life in Charlotte by exploring more and getting to know the city with the aggressiveness that we had while we were in Minneapolis.

Happy Friday! I was really looking forward to staying put all weekend for the first time in what feels like a while, but now I have plans to dash up to Roanoke for a few hours on Sunday to take some photos for a Christmas collaboration with La Crema. But until then I'll be here in Charlotte, relaxing and maybe even hanging up some holiday decorations! I think a viewing of Love Actually is in order.

• Somehow I missed this Regina Spektor music video and it is everything. She is so wonderfully weird and I love her.
• I'm really obsessed with Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, so this little holiday video made my day.

Food and Drink:

• Meet the Flat White, the Coffee Drink Taking the U.S. by Storm--I've seen them here and there but haven't had one yet. What about you? I think they sound perfect.
• Anne Hathaway Swaps Vegan Diet for High Protein Paleo-Style Plan...and she feels better! I know it's not a huge deal or anything but I love hearing about celebrities who love Paleo. It makes it feel much more mainstream, which I do think is important.
