Some Things I Believe Right Now (#12)

Wow. I can't even begin to thank you all so much for your beautiful congratulations and kind words about our news on Monday! The comments here and on Instagram, Facebook messages, emails, and even texts were so incredibly overwhelming and made me and Rob feel so incredibly loved. I'm trying to get back to everyone but until then I just wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you so very much.

We've been going through a really intense heat wave here in the Bay Area and then our Internet went out, so between teaching Pure Barre and attempting to get blog posts written I've been doing a lot of reading, napping, and taking myself out to coffee and/or lunch anywhere I can find wifi and central air. So while I have a connection, I wanted to jump back in and share a "regularly scheduled" post with you (plus this lengthy introduction!).

Right now, I believe...

that a bouquet of peonies is always worth it.

in big batches of homemade cold brew (even if it's decaf for now).

that teleportation should just be a thing already.

in more mayonnaise (or salad dressing) than is socially acceptable.

that facing your fears and realizing they weren't that scary is one of the most satisfying things you can do.

in huge glasses of water filled to the top with ice.

in spending too much on a bougie salad every now and then because it's really hot out and you usually eat lunch at home by yourself.

What are some things that are true for you right now?
