What I Wore 47: Rainbow Bright

Last night, Rob and I decided to go on a little date to a new spot in our neighborhood. I've been living in workout clothes and top knots recently, so it was a nice change to throw a dress on and actually do something with my hair.

Lately I've been thinking of seriously paring down my wardrobe, but then a dress like this one emerges and I remember why I sometimes hold on to things forever. I bought it for almost a year ago and have only worn it two or three times, but every time I do, I totally feel like a princess. I can't part with pieces like those!

Because it's such a bright dress, I decided to pair it with dark accessories, which is something I usually wouldn't do. I loved the result! It was perfect for a casual walk around the neighborhood, followed by a glass of wine and a dinner at a restaurant that ended up being way more expensive than we anticipated. You win some, you lose some.
