Hello From the Road

Happy Friday! Rob and I are headed to Roanoke for the weekend, and then I'll be staying at least a couple days next week while my mom recovers from what we hope will be a quick and successful second surgery.

We had guests come on Wednesday and they left this morning, so it feels like we've already had one weekend this weekend. We have a lot of stuff coming up these next few days and I'm already anxious to get back to Charlotte and once again try to establish a normal routine. 

I'm planning/hoping to keep up with my blog a little better than I did the last time my mom had surgery, especially since I'll be away for half the time or less. I can't thank you all enough for all the support, love, thoughts, and prayers you've sent these past couple of months with my mom's first surgery and my BRCA test results. We all appreciate it so much.
