This morning I'm jetting off to Seattle for a work project and I couldn't be more excited! I haven't been to Washington in years and I am so happy to be heading out west for the sake of blogging (even if I miss Rob and Ender so much already--those guys are just way too cute).

I'm hoping to post here at least once (I'll be out of town until Monday night), but I'll definitely be sharing a few times a day (let's be honest, maybe every hour) on Instagram, so please feel free to follow along there! I've been a big fan of fresh spring rolls for years but haven't thought to make them myself until recently. I gave it a try on Monday and they were so delicious and fun that I have made them every day since. A couple of my girlfriends came over for a wine night yesterday, so I whipped up another plate full and they were a hit--I ran out of shrimp about halfway through so I added some avocado and made straight-up veggie ones which were just as delicious.

I'm headed to Seattle on Thursday and this dress is coming with me. I've had it for a couple years now and it's definitely a favorite. It almost has a heavy quality to it that I like a lot, and I feel like it's easily dressed up or down (which matters because in my dreams I'm always on my way to a very fancy tea party). Plus, it has pockets. So that's really all I have to say.
