What I Wore 59: The Ultimate Sweater Dress
The Ultimate Sweater Dress | Freckled Italian

This is one of my favorite pieces for fall--it's as cozy as a big over-sized tee shirt, but it clings in great places and is much fancier than my usual leggings and baggy sweaters.

I've been wearing these little booties with everything, and I love them; but now I'm starting to look for a pair that are a little dressier. Anyone have suggestions? I like the neutral color but I think I'd like less material around the the top and a skinnier, higher heel. But until I find my second pair of booties, I'll be wearing these ones with comfy dresses, jeans, and leggings as usual.

(And does anyone else think it might be time for a new bag? I just can't quit this one.)

What I Wore: Pumpkin Spice | Freckled Italian

I've had this dress for something like eight years, and every time I see it hanging in my closet I wonder if I should get rid of it. But every time I put it on I fall in love with it all over again. Sometimes I layer it over a long-sleeved top, but it's actually kind of perfect for this time of year, when we're all freaking out about all things autumn but it's still 78 degrees every afternoon.

What I Wore 57: My First Mrs. Dress

I wore this dress after our wedding reception last year--Rob and I were picked up in a limo and raced back to our hotel so I could change before meeting all of our guests out in downtown Roanoke at one of our favorite bars to continue the celebrations. I really wanted to continue wearing these shoes, too, but after being on my feet all night, I had to wear sandals.

I have never been more exhausted than I was that Sunday after our wedding weekend was coming to a close, but it was one of the happiest weekends of my life. Our wedding is one of my favorite memories, and since I had my wedding dress cleaned and preserved soon after (it was my mom's first) I'm so glad I have this one hanging in my closet, ready to be worn at any time.
