Weekend in Photos // A Visit from Sean
Sean's four and a half days here have flown by so incredibly fast--I can't believe he's heading back to Virginia this afternoon. I thought I took a bunch of photos, but they're mostly of food, which I guess is to be expected. We also went snowshoeing, explored Minnehaha falls, and watched the Olympics and Parks and Rec like it was going out of style. Rob and Sean are such good friends and it's the most wonderful thing in the world to see.

It's been a great long weekend, and now I'm so anxious to get back to Virginia in March to spend a week at home before my DC bachelorette weekend with all of my best girlfriends! But before that happens, we have another brother visit this coming weekend--Rob's brother, Sam is coming in on Thursday night! So I'll most likely have another weekend recap again next Monday. Until then, here's a look at the past few days around here with Sean.

Modern Times & Minnehaha Falls
Rob had to work a lot this weekend, so I spent much of the past few days on my own. I didn't mind it--I watched a lot of Parks and Rec, started thinking about what I'm going to wear to Alt Summit (no, I haven't packed yet), and began to assemble our wedding invitations. I am never as organized with my time as I intend to be, but still, I managed to go grocery shopping and to the post office and made soup.

On Sunday, I drove to my friend Daci's house and we headed to breakfast, followed by an adventurous walk around a frozen Minnehaha Falls. It was 37 degrees and sunny so naturally we abandoned our coats and rolled down the windows as soon as we got back to the car. We grabbed a Bloody Mary at Red Stag Supperclub and sat at the bar before window shopping a really sweet little store just a few doors down. We stood outside and snapped photos, still jacket-less, taking in the sunlight and above-freezing temperatures. It feels pretty awesome to have adapted to the weather in this small way, and to have made a friend with whom I can spend an entire day laughing and exploring.

Weekend in Photos // Forty Degrees and Sunny
It was a pretty warm weekend here in Minneapolis, and we spent Saturday and Sunday having coffee, taking long walks, exploring cute neighborhoods, and popping in to a bookstore I've been looking forward to visiting for months. We had pretty big plans to clean the entire apartment and fold about three loads of laundry, but it was just too nice to not be outside.
