I barely picked up my camera all weekend! Here are a few shots from my phone from over the past three days.

1. Started a new book and drank some coffee while Rob slept in a bit on Saturday morning.

2. I got to go wedding dress shopping with Melissa and one of her bridesmaids on Saturday afternoon and she found the one! We had so much fun and they gave us little cans of champagne at the end.

3. More celebrating at Cava Mezze after our appointment at the shop. The cucumber mojitos were perfect.

4. Rob and I went to breakfast on Sunday at the tiniest IHOP I've ever seen. It's my new favorite spot in his neighborhood.

Overall, it was a much-needed weekend of relaxing and quality time with some people that I love. What about you?

Good morning! It's a cold Saturday here in Roanoke and I'm sitting in the kitchen with my coffee while my mom cooks up some sausage and pancakes for everyone. Rob, my brother, my dad, and my cousin Brendan are all still asleep and I just love the feeling of being awake in the quiet morning of a full house! The fire is going and Rocky is lounging. This is the life!

1. Finally got to try Ginger Woodchuck--it was so good and it even matched my outfit!

2. Tailgating at Hampden-Sydney. More Woodchuck!

3. Took an autumnal walk around a pond with Rob.

4. Together in New York.

5. Van Cortlandt Park.

6. Finished The Paris Wife 

(and I'm still not sure if I feel worse for Hadley or Hemingway).

7. Sean roasted some venison for us. My first deer meat experience.

8. Casual Friday on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

9. Shooting with film for the first time! I'm anxious to get it developed.

10. Thanksgiving dinner.

11. Black Friday WOD at RVCF. Tim is such a great coach.

12. Paleo banana bread just how I like it--with a ton of grassfed butter on top.

Wednesday felt like Friday to me, and yesterday felt like Monday 

Is anyone else glad it's the weekend?

1. I think fall on the lake is more magical than summer sometimes.

2. Rob and I match accidentally all the time, but this was intentional.

3. My parents, Rob, and I all went on a ride in my dad's old Chris Craft a few weekends ago.

4. Remember the rose plant I talked about in this post? It's blooming!

5. Working from Rob's balcony in Arlington. You can see the Washington Monument and Capitol building. Not a bad view.

6. I love my morning mate.

7. Halloween at the office. Luckily I had this Pooh bear costume, you know, just lying around.

8. My nights have been about comfy socks and lounging on the couch by the fire to watch Hocus Pocus and episodes of Sex and the City.
