Life Lately According to Instagram (#28)

Hi and happy Monday! This month has been so full of good times with friends, and it's really just made me so happy. The beginning of March marked the first time I thought, "Oh my God, I can't handle any more of this winter," and I know we'll get more snow, but a few warm days here and there (our windows are open!) and a trip back to Virginia for my bachelorette really made this "second winter," as some Minnesotans like to call it (that would be February through April, in case you were wondering) a little more bearable.

So without further ado, here's a look at March in photos!

1. Started the month (and celebrated our fifth anniversary) by picking up our wedding bands.

2. New candles make the apartment feel like spring.

3. Read (and loved!) B.J. Novak's One More Thing for The Eighty Twenty Book Club.

4-6. Spent a week at my parents' house in Roanoke before heading to D.C. for my bachelorette weekend.

7-8. Took the light rail to drag brunch at The Gay 90s with two of my Minneapolis girlfriends.

9. Breakfasted, museum-ed, and coffee-d with an old friend from high school who was in town for the weekend.

I am over-the-moon excited to tell you guys more about my most recent collaboration-- I've teamed up with La Crema for the next few months to share some wedding-related parties and events with you on Freckled Italian, while simultaneously bringing fun DIY and recipe posts to The La Crema Blog.

You might have caught it in my bachelorette weekend recap last week, but I wanted to make sure you all had a chance to see my first La Crema DIY tutorial. Click through the gallery below for extras from our photo shoot, and don't miss the actual post on The La Crema Blog.

Special thanks go to my friend Sarah of Photo + Love for capturing all of these photos and to my sweet Maid of Honor, Tina, for being a great co-crafter, wine sipper, and friend in general.

I hope you enjoy! And have a fantastic weekend, friends.

With a new design (and a new blogging platform!) comes a lot of new inspiration, and lately I've been really motivated to take advertising and sponsorship to a new level. If you have a blog, brand, or business that you'd like to promote in the next month or so, please stop by my new advertising page (you can book an ad space right there) and take a look. As always, I encourage you to send me an email with any questions or ideas you may have. I'd love to hear from you, and we can even chat on the phone if you prefer! I look forward to working with you soon!
