Coffee Shops & Bookstores | Uptown with Winona Grey
I can count the number of friends I have in Minneapolis on one hand, so I was really excited to both work and just hang out with Winona, who is the fabulous photographer behind Winona Grey Photography and a neighbor of mine! We crossed paths at our apartment building's Oktoberfest community event and immediately started planning to get together for a photo shoot/blog collaboration.

We met on a chilly afternoon last week, hopped on a bus and hung around Uptown, which is one of my favorite Minneapolis neighborhoods and also where Winona used to live. She had the day planned out, and when we stopped immediately for coffee I knew we were going to be fast friends. She's also super talented, as I'm sure you'll see.

Product Review | Resvology Age Corrective Eye Cream

var search_me = '60_6568'; var scriptElems = document.getElementsByTagName('script'), i=scriptElems.length - 1, curLoc; for (; i; --i) { curLoc = scriptElems[i]; if ('innerText' in curLoc) { if (curLoc.innerText.indexOf(search_me)) break; }else if ('textContent' in curLoc) { if (curLoc.textContent.indexOf(search_me)) break; }} addImpression(60,6568);var clkHndlr = function(event) { addListenersForClickAround(60,6568, curLoc); };addEvent(window, 'load', clkHndlr);

At 25 years old, I can't say I have a whole bunch of fine lines or even any wrinkles, but there are definitely some little bitty lines around my eyes that I'm not the biggest fan of. And ever since our wedding planning began six months ago, I've been thinking a lot about my face, so I was really excited to try out

Resvology

's Youth-Activating Skincare.

They sent me a bottle of their age corrective eye cream, and I've really enjoyed using it. It's supposed to reduce wrinkles, puffiness, and dark circles. It's been great on the fine lines around my eyes, and I've seen a really nice reduction to the puffiness and dark circles I sometimes have.

It's lightweight and doesn't make my eyes sting or water, which is something I've found in other eye creams. And all

Resvology

products are free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, triclosan, phthalates, and GMOs. So all in all, I don't have anything negative to say about it! I'm really glad to have incorporated it into my skincare routine and I recommend it to anyone looking to try out a new eye cream.

This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own.

As always, I only work with brands that I love and think that you will love, as well.

Thank you for your support as I continue to work with sponsors.

Weekend in Photos // Wedding Rings & Afternoon Walks
It was beautiful this weekend. Stubborn leaves finally changed color, and long walks were taken outside around Normandale Lake. It was sunny every day, Rob picked out his wedding ring, and we had a great lunch at one of our favorite places. We folded laundry on Saturday night and then went out to a concert at ten followed by omelets at midnight.

On Sunday morning we slept in and addressed the last of our save-the-dates. We talked about our rehearsal dinner menu and I made Paleo crepes for brunch. It was cozy and uneventful enough to be one of those weekends where you feel comfortable and settled in.

We've mostly established a routine here, but sometimes it still doesn't actually feel real. I said, "Sometimes I forget that we live here" as we talked about ice skating sometime this winter, which is rapidly approaching. It's been unusual spending autumn away from Virginia this year. This season I love so much feels different here. I'm grateful for it all the same.
