Wishing You an Energizing Weekend

It was cold enough for Rob to work from home on Monday, and then on Tuesday he came home sick. On Wednesday I started a somewhat temporary part-time job, so between the laundry and the dishes and the weather and the time away from home that I usually have to work out, cook, and get somewhat organized, I've been feeling a little out of sorts. I'm looking forward to having a few days to get myself back together.

It's supposed to be upwards of thirty-five degrees this weekend, which sounds like spring to me after a few recent days of twenty degrees below zero. And in less than two weeks, I'll be in Salt Lake City for Alt Summit, which I've been so excited about since September. I guess I have a lot to look forward to.

Wishing you a warm, happy, and maybe even a little outdoorsy weekend.

What I Wore 60: Braving the Elements
Whenever Rob and I tell people that we live in Minneapolis, you can bet that the first thing that comes out of their mouth is usually, "Oh, gosh, you know it's cold there, right?" And at the risk of sounding like a huge brat, let me say that yes, we do know. This weekend was exceptionally cold, with a windchill of -26 on Sunday, but on Saturday, it was an entire nine degrees above zero, so while we were out running some errands, we stopped at Lake Normandale to snap a few photos.

I must be adjusting well to this climate, because I decided to leave my jacket in the car and was outside for ten whole minutes! So without further ado, here's what I wore this weekend (mostly under my parka).

Sweater + Corduroys: J.Crew | Glasses: Kate Spade
Vest: Ralph Lauren | Necklace: Ann Taylor LOFT
Boots: c/o Oliberte | Bag: Hobo
Watch: Gift from Rob | Bracelet: J.Crew

Stay warm out there, friends.
