I'm home from work with plans to go on a long run and then clean the entire apartment. 

Rob and I are making ribs for dinner tonight. Enjoying the weather. Maybe going out with friends later.

It's sunny and warm in Charlottesville and I'm so happy it's the weekend.

When it comes to blogging, there's nothing more cool, fulfilling, and fun than getting to know people out there with whom you connect immediately. I  feel as though I have just always been friends with Whitney, Erica, Jackie, and Melissa. So obviously I met up with them for brunch while I was in DC yesterday and we drank a whole lot of champagne together.

Missing you girls already. Your friendship is worth the hangover.

I spent Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday with Rob and my parents at the lake. I announced on Saturday night, "I won't be doing anything tomorrow," and that's exactly what I did. Nothing. All day. I didn't even get out of my pajamas.

I also forgot my camera's memory card, so I used my dad's camera to snap some photos of the nothingness in all its glory.

You know there were snacks.

And tea in pretty cups.

And books.

And some quality time with this cute guy.
