This weekend, we did a lot of walking (both after dinner on Friday and Saturday morning at the farmers' market) and hanging out on the couch finally finishing the most recent season of How I Met Your Mother and then immediately getting obsessed with Orange is the New Black. I now have just one box left to unpack and even though I felt a little homesick a couple of times on Sunday, this place is really starting to feel like home. But I swear to God, if I have to go to IKEA one more time, I'm going to scream. Even if that means hot dogs.
At the suggestion of Diana, Rob and I headed to Lake Harriet the other evening to walk around and listen to some music. It was our first real encounter with any Minnesota lakes, and we were kind of blown away by how beautiful it was. Coming from Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia, I'm obviously used to being on the water, but sailboats are just something else entirely.
Rob got me this sweet little dress for my birthday two years ago (what?) and I love it so much. I don't wear enough patterned things. It's really twirly, which is great, until the wind picks up a bit and I almost flash everyone around me. It's fine.
