What I Wore 31: The Perfect Dress

Rob and I had dinner last night at Metro! with our friends Tina and Michael. We had so much fun! I ate sushi and had creme brulee and drank the most delicious lemonade with ginger and rum in it. Tina and I have been best friends since junior high and I love her so much! She goes to school in Richmond but has been in DC all summer, so we always try to hang out when we're both in the same town.

I put on this new dress of mine in the morning, and I wondered if it was going to make it through eight hours of sitting at my desk, a couple errands at lunch, and then still be looking as good as it did in the morning for a double date of dinner and drinks. What's that called? Day to Night? Office to Happy Hour? I know it has a name. It's when you change your shoes or put on a sparkly jacket and add more mascara instead of going home for dinner. Whatever it is, this dress can do it, and now I just wish I had it in every color. I didn't even have to change my shoes!
