Wishing You a Relaxing Weekend
DSCF1860.jpg

Good morning and happy Friday from rainy Minneapolis! This week has been an odd one, as I finally finished a temp job that I thought would be much shorter than it ended up and have tried to get my blogging self back in order. There are clothes that need to be folded and boxes that need to be packed, and Rob got home late last night for the weekend. We are definitely in the middle of a transition, so I hope you'll bear with me as I try to balance moving and blogging (which I think I can probably do better than temping and blogging). I do have a couple really nice things lined up for the next few weeks here.

This weekend we'll be drinking coffee, watching our favorite shows, going out to eat, cooking in, and packing up some of our stuff. It's so weird to think that I live here and Rob is visiting--for so long before I moved it was the other way around. Life is strange that way, don't you think?

What will you be up to the next couple of days? I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Doing Summer with a Teagarita

Teagarita 068.JPG

Summer has most definitely come to Minneapolis, and I can't think of a better way to spend a warm afternoon than outside with snacks and a refreshing drink. So when I was asked if I wanted to try Jose Cuervo's new Iced Teagarita, which is basically an iced tea spiked with a margarita, I was like, well--yeah, I do. Not only did they send me the bottle, but they included a couple of sweet mason jars, striped paper straws (which I love more than is necessary), and some cute summery coasters. I am now ready for a party!

I wasn't super sure what to expect from the Teagarita, since I don't really care for super-sweet drinks, but I do love interesting flavor combinations, so I was excited to give it a try. As it turns out, the result of a classic lime margarita with tequila, blended with orange liqueur, and topped off with iced tea is really refreshing and delicious.

Teagarita launched in May and is gaining wider distribution as summer goes on, so if you haven't seen it around yet, you will soon! Visit Jose Cuervo on Facebook right here.
