Life Lately According to Instagram (#20)
Every few months, I start to feel weird about posting Instagram recaps on my blog. For a while I had a bunch of photos lined up every thirty days on the dot, but recently I've been forgetting about it or waiting a few extra days, then narrowing down my collection of favorites to ten or less because I'm afraid I'm going to bore you with things you've already seen.

Also I have to say that I feel incredibly dull, nattering on about what it means to post photo collages on my blog every month, so I'm going to go ahead and stop. If you're bored, I apologize, but I'm going to keep on doing these because once they're done, I feel good about them. Also, I've been doing them since May of 2012, and I barely ever stick with things for this long, so we're going to ride this train for as long as possible.

With that, take a look at June. Hard to believe it's come and gone already.

1-3. We've had some pretty beautiful days around here.
4. I wrote all my bridesmaids cards. I loved it. They went all over, from New York City to South Korea.
5. Our bedroom in Minneapolis is really pretty.
6. I think I broke the Happy Hour Record in June. Is that a thing? Because it sounds awesome.
7-9. Was reunited with so many people I love for Melissa's wedding!

So tell me, how was your June?

Weekend in Photos // Back to Minnesota
Rob and I had a weekend full of good food, cocktails, apartment decorating, IKEA, lots of episodes of House of Cards and a few skits from Portlandia, farmers' market wanderings, and an amazing Saturday evening spent on our patio with Thai takeout.

Now that there's a definitive date set for me to move in, this visit to the Twin Cities felt even more special than the other two. I packed a suitcase full of things and left almost all of them hanging in the closet or nestled in a newly-claimed drawer. I felt less like a tourist and more like I belonged, with a list of favorite places already. (Hint: one of them is the patio.)

This place is pretty amazing in the summer.
