1.  Found this little gem from a trip to Italy in my jewelry box. I hadn't worn it in years, but now I do all the time!

6. A sneak peek at our outdoor Olympic theater.

7. I've been making coffee ice cubes for my iced coffee and it's sort of changing my life.

8. Dressing up for work is fun for me every day. (Bye, old phone! I just replaced that old guy yesterday).

Dear August,

Welcome! I've been waiting for you. You bring along the promise of soon-to-be crisp mornings and the end of those muggy afternoons. I know, I know--you're still summer, and so is most of September, but you mean something to me anyway. You start that magical, beginning of the semester time of year. The season of new books and fresh pens. Of paper and leaves and Dashboard Confessional.

You hint at autumn sometimes, and for now, that's enough for me.

(Just try not to take too long.)

My mom brought this dress home for me a few weeks ago after going on vacation with some of her girlfriends in Florida. To say it is perfect a bit of an understatement. We thought we might have to have it altered, but then I tried it on and it fit just right! Thanks for spotting it, Mrs. Burns!
